Ever wonder if your house is just too dirty for a cleaning service? It’s a difficult place to be. You need help cleaning your home but you’re embarrassed or worried to let a professional cleaning team come in. We’re here to help!
As professional cleaners, we’ve seen it all. As home owners ourselves, we understand how mess can quickly add up, causing a compounding effect. Whether you are in a busy season, going through an illness with a household member, or you are just otherwise incapable of cleaning your home, you can experience many reasons for your home becoming a mess. At H&R Cleaning, our job is to keep your home clean, fresh, and sparkling. We would rather not waste our energy or time judging our clients. While we are able and ready to clean homes on a broad scale of “messy,” we do follow several guidelines for the safety of our team and effectiveness of our services. We’ve outlined these guidelines below to help you plan your professional house cleaning service with us.
Signs Your House Needs Professional Cleaning
Firstly, let’s address if your home needs house cleaning services. The biggest indicator that you need cleaning services is if you don’t have time, energy, or desire to clean your home yourself. When this occurs, dirt can accumulate around your home and make the situation worse. If you notice these indicators in your home, that’s a good sign to give us a call: excessive clutter, persistent odors, and visible dust or dirt buildup.
Day-to-day mess is different from a level of dirt that requires professional cleaning (though we are also happy to provide cleaning for routine mess and do so for many clients!). On a daily basis, you will fill a sink with dirty dishes, make spills on your counter, track dirt in on your floor, and leave splashes around your bathrooms. When not addressed regularly, these daily messes turn into a problem causing grime and dust buildup, stains and disarray around your home. This is when you definitely can benefit from our cleaning services.
What Our Professional Cleaning Service Can Handle
Now that we’ve addressed the point that cleaning services become necessary, we will tackle outlining what our services can handle. As we said before, we can handle a wide range of “mess” and very rarely turn down the opportunity to serve our clients. You can see a full overview of our cleaning services on our Cleaning Checklists. Our Deep Cleaning services cover your home top to bottom, from ceiling fans and trim to kitchen cabinets and floors. It’s a more detailed clean aimed at tackling the areas and tasks that are often overlooked. Our Recurring Cleanings provide weekly or biweekly tasks to keep up a clean and fresh home.
Our team is trained to notice the details and take care of difficult cleaning scenarios. We use professional cleaning products that provide safe and effective cleaning and sanitizing. Certain cleaning tasks you may find overwhelming. Not to worry, our team is trained to tackle difficult tasks!
When We Cannot Provide Cleaning Services.
Although very rare, there are certain times when we are not able to provide cleaning services. In these instances, the condition of a home is a hazard to our cleaning technicians. Again, don’t fear! These are rare and when issues are addressed, we are able to continue cleaning.
- Rodent and insect infestation – When we notice that there is an infestation of rodents such as mice or rats, or insects such as roaches or fleas, we cannot safely provide services.
- Pet feces and urine – Unfortunately, we are not able to clean up animal waste. This is in an effort to keep our cleaning tools sanitary and our team safe.
- Visible mold outbreak – If we see an outbreak of mold, we aren’t able to clean the home. Mold spores can cause health issues and mold cleanup requires specialized services like mold remediation.
- Visible biohazards – Certain hazards like bodily fluids – blood, waste, etc. – can be hazardous for our team and so we cannot clean this.
- Water or fire damage – when flooding or fires occur in the home, these scenarios require specialized services to address cleanup,
- Antiques, rare items, specialized surfaces – in an effort to keep your valuables and treasured items safe, we do not attempt to clean antique items or fabrics. While we will carefully dust your antiques and items on countertops and furniture, we do not provide fabric cleaning or deeper cleaning for these items.
